Hanasaku Iroha 11

Good Eppy!

I continue to be pleasantly surprised by this series.

Saikou noooo Omoide woooooo

I should really start downloading buying music from anime more often. The selection from Nipponsei is impressive. Pretty sure they've been releasing anime OPs and EDs since forever. Went there today to get the ED release of AnoHana, Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta mono~ sung by the three main voice actresses of the series. It's a beautiful sort of song with a sadness to it.

Spring Picks

Been watching a handful of the new season anime and thus far i'm not overly impressed. Nevertheless, in alphabetical order I am currently watching:

NANA!

Edit: After reading the Nana manga and finding out what happens in the prospective season, I have come to the conclusion that Ai Yazawa was/is on crack, and a 7th grader could have written a better storyline. I will not be watching the next installment.

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai 02

(aka We Still Don`t Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day)

As a fan of noitaminA, I spotted this baby out of the other crap scheduled to be airing during the Japanese Spring season. It had promise written all over it. A six-person ensemble cast. Coming-of-age drama. Warm scenery. Best of all, no robots or aliens :D

Kimi ni Todoke 09

Ah, sweet and innocent love

After a whole season and 8 episodes worth of misunderstandings, side story and other fluff, this is what it has culminated to...a HUG! They should try holding hands next! :O

A list pertaining to anime that you may or may not give a shit about

1. My number one genre of anime is shoujo. I usually opt for drama/romance/comedy or any other combination thereof. Be prepared for a lot of posts about shoujo anime..

Liek zomg, finally..!

Welcome to my blog!

Please note that this is not a personal, dear diary bullshit kind of blog, nor is it a pretentious photo blog where taking photos of trash is considered artsy and/or indie. It is simply a blog about anime, or rather the otakudom - as Urban Dictionary states: "An all-encompassing term to describe the fans of Japanese anime and manga. Fandom specific to anime and manga lovers."

My name is Jennifer, and I am an otaku.

P.S. Please be aware of profanity.
