Ah, sweet and innocent love |
After a whole season and 8 episodes worth of misunderstandings, side story and other fluff, this is what it has culminated to...a HUG! They should try holding hands next! :O
No but seriously, this made me smile like a dumb girl in like. And yeah, it's probably one of my favourite bits in the manga.
I can't say much else about this episode because this scene took up about 3/4 of it. Well it's a pretty pivotal moment so I'm not really that surprised. Basically, Sawako confesses to Kazehaya, she thanks him about all this stuff yada yada yada. Kazehaya then, shockhorror, reciprocates! All the while, Kazehaya's dumbass friend is looking for him and ruins a possible kiss moment:

Kazehaya should've been like "Hey Joe....GOOD TO SEE YOU."
I like how Kimi ni Todoke has all the drama and romance that a shoujo anime should have, without all the yucky angst (Bokura ga Ita). No complicated love squares or triangles, and no irritatingly mean person trying their best to break them up. Just pure, straight-up fairy bread highschool romance (aw).
Now I just wish those Eclipse bastards would hurry up and sub the last 3 episodes.
